Review by hotel critic
Nestled near Rembrandt Square, the location provided easy access to a variety of restaurants, bars, and even a couple of chill coffee shops. As outdoor enthusiasts, my family loved the lively atmosphere and the options available for exploring. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff, and the check-in process was remarkably efficient. It was great knowing our luggage could be stored safely while we explored the area. A short walk led us to the charming village on the banks of the river Zaan, where we enjoyed browsing tradesmen's workshops-a fun and engaging experience for the whole family. I would point out that the steep, spiral staircase might pose a challenge for older family members. The Veteran delivered a satisfying family experience with its central location and accommodating staff. It's definitely worth considering for families seeking a balance of excitement and accessibility during their Amsterdam adventure.
